Retro Game Corps travels to Shenzhen, China to visit some of the companies behind our favourite retro handhelds: how these places run, who works there, and the culture that produces the devices on our shelves. It's genuinely eye-opening, and as a bonus it doubles as a decent travel guide if you ever find yourself headed east.
What stuck with me is that this is a side of the hobby you don't normally get to see. We engage with these handhelds entirely through the devices and the reviews, and it's easy to forget there are real people and real places on the other end of that. Worth the watch.
And yes, it's confirmed: Retroid and AYN share a parent company.
