Why Play It
TL;DR:
- Short and inexpensive, so it’s easy to dive in.
 - An emotional story that lingers after the credits.

It starts like any ordinary morning. A young girl wakes up, rubs the sleep from her eyes, and slips into her routine. Except something feels off…
and Roger is a point-and-click interactive short story with a beautiful, minimalist line-art style. The game tells its emotional story through deliberate visual compositions and tactile mini-puzzles. Kotaku called it one of 2025’s most special, emotional games and urged people to go in blind, and I totally agree. The less you know going in, the better.
I’ve been intentional about not showing or saying much. So I’ll leave it here. It costs $5, takes about an hour, and fits perfectly into a single-sitting session. If you enjoy narrative-driven experiences that linger, the kind you sit with after a good film or book, and you want something short but thoughtfully crafted, just give this a go.
